Memorial Day Weekend

I've had the "bug" the last few days and been down literally in bed. Stayed in Prc. to recover and will be going back to the valley tomorrow. Looked at a house in Prc. Lakes, it was perfect, except, the HOA was $235.Mo and inc. 10% annually. No thanks!! Too much. Shawna seems to be doing well in school. All A's so far. She is planning to get her own studio this week and just live by herself and Roxy, yeah! I hope this is a good thing and she can stay away from the booze by herself. I know that Rick is a teetotaler. Had such fun at Connie's last Wed. at the All About Me. It's such a great group of gals. Looking forward to Jean's party this Wed. Sure hope I'm back 100%. Larry Snyder is recovering from the lip surgery and Rhonda from the cancer scare and they are on a short cruise. Should lunch withLinda on Wed. but need to pick up a metal scrapbook paper cabinet in Mesa. Maybe she'll go with me. All is well. Carol is sick again with respiratory tho' which I just hate. She has got to do something about her lungs. I need to get back on the treadmill and stick with it. Happy Memorial Day to all.

ALOHA

Just back from Maui of one week of Paradise. Gosh! a much needed get-away. Walked hand -in-hand on the beach, read books (Lee2) (Me11/2+ got all my Mother's Day cards out), had wonderful dinners, and walks. It was just wonderful!!!! Rented a small cottage 1/2 block off the beach that I gound on Google. It was a bit sparse but served the purpose of privacy and solitude. The only draw back is that horribly looong flight. Gosh!! I didn't know if I was ever going to see land again. Ha! And the time difference. Back on schedule now though. Lee only got two hours of sleep which I really hated but went to bed super early tonight and should rejuvenated tomorrow.

The three things I am grateful today is: My wonderful week, a safe flight and a fantastic hubby.
